Family Ministry at Mount Paran
"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Luke 12:34
“Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from Him.” - Psalm 127:3
We are committed to partnering with families to raise kids who know God, love Him, and go on to share His love with the world.
Safety and Security
To ensure the safety and security of our children, parents must sign children in at our check-in kiosks or visit the Welcome Care desk for assistance. An adult must check-in and check-out each child in our care, and nametags are required for participation in our children’s ministry areas. A unique nametag and claim ticket will be printed each time you check-in, and the claim ticket must be presented when picking up your child. If you do not have the claim ticket, a member of our Welcome Team will be there to assist you. You may be asked to verify your identity with a photo id.
Well Child Policy
We care about your family and want to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. Thank you for helping us protect the well-being of all of our families and children by following these guidelines.
For the protection of all children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child who has had any of the following symptoms, including symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19), within the last 24 hours. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications) before entering our children’s environments. Children who show signs of sickness will not be permitted in the children’s ministry areas.
If an illness is observed after a child is in our children’s ministry environment, your child will be separated from the other children, and a staff member will contact you.
Upon recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics, children should not be taken from the home with any of the following.
Fever within the previous 24 hours
Vomiting or diarrhea
Any symptoms of infectious childhood disease such as chickenpox, strep throat, flu, or measles
Common cold (from onset through one week)
Sore throat
Persistent cough
Contagious or unexplained rash
Pink eye or eye infection
Runny nose

MOUNT PARAN KIDS | 1st - 5th grade
We are dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children in becoming fully-devoted followers of Jesus. Each week, our students learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their everyday lives.
Let Them Come
Jesus shared a fundamental truth about childhood when He said in Matthew 19:4, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” It is during this season in a young person’s life when they are most open to learning what it means to trust God.
Matthew 10:42
Little things can make a big difference. Jesus said, “If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” We want to help kids understand that although they are small, God loves them and can use their lives to make a BIG difference in the world.
A Place to Belong
We provide an engaging, friendly, and safe environment where kids can have fun being kids. Our goal is to provide a place where kids can belong while helping them to know God, love Him, and learn to trust Him in all areas of life.

Mount Paran Special Needs Ministry
The Importance of Special Needs Ministry
The purpose of the Unlimited* Special Needs Ministry is to partner with parents to make strong, committed disciples of Jesus Christ. We provide a variety of safe, secure, specialized, but inclusive environments that best fit the needs of your child. We encourage parents to engage in worship and bible teaching each week in the main sanctuary while your child enjoys an interactive, age appropriate church service with a one-on-one mentor. We believe in the continued spiritual development of children of all ages and abilities. We also believe in helping them to grow in their walk with Christ so that they are afforded the same opportunities for leadership in the church as their peers. In addition to inclusion church services, we offer a wide range of care supports for our families to help foster the most excellent quality of life possible.
We are UNLIMITED.
The Unlimited* ministry is open to all children, youth and adults who have a disability, developmental delays, or anyone who just needs some extra TLC. We partner with parents and caregivers to build strong, committed disciples of Jesus.
