Our missions ministry and outreach is a highlight of our church. We sponsor missionaries in 30 nations around the world, and have a growing home missions ministry in Atlanta. Our annual Missions Conference is an exciting time of supporting our missionaries and mobilizing our church to share the gospel of Christ with all the world.

Refugee Ministry
Did you know that thousands of refugees to the U.S. settle right here in Atlanta? Clarkston, a suburb just east of Atlanta, is home to thousands of refugee families, most of whom do not know Jesus. New to American culture, many need help acclimating and are looking for community. Come serve at our church plant Sunday afternoon, or on an outreach team in the community.
Serving Opportunities:
Sunday afternoon – worship team, kids ministry, usher at Stone Memorial church plant
English as a Second Language (ESL) support
Relational evangelism through ongoing home visits
Outdoor outreach support – clothing giveaways, kids’ outreach, inviting the community to church plant worship services
Kid's Block Party & Apartment Outreach
Share the love of Christ with kids and families in low-income communities through an enjoyable time of games, food, fellowship & worship. Our team throws a neighborhood party, and then hosts an outdoor worship service, sharing the gospel with everyone present. Ideal for fun-loving volunteers with a heart to have play with, serve & minister to kids.
Background clearance is required for all volunteers to be able to serve.
Volunteers are needed to:
Setup & clean-up of space
Lead games, activities and crafts with kids
Help with food prep/serving
Fellowship with adults
Assist kid-friendly Bible lesson
Good News Club
Share Jesus with the kids of two local elementary schools through exciting Bibles lessons, songs and fun!
This team serves each Tuesday & Thursday, at 2 south Cobb schools, September – April from 2:30 to 4:00pm.
Background clearance is required for all volunteers to be able to serve.
Volunteers are needed to:
Serve Tuesday & Thursday afternoons at local Elementary schools in Smyrna.
Help with setup & clean-up
Assist with games & activities after school
Love kids like Jesus did, & embody the Good News of Christ to them

Prison Ministry
Join our volunteer prison ministry teams to host Bible study and prayer for Fulton County inmates. Prospective volunteers must complete Fulton County chaplain’s security clearance and training to be allowed into the prisons.
Online Missionaries
Disciple people from all the world right from home. Our partners, GMO, connect online missionaries to seekers asking faith questions online.
Volunteers go through an intensive online training with GMO.
Special Events Team
This team assists with special projects and seasonal events throughout the year. Major churchwide events are our missions conference in the Spring, backpack and school supply outreach in the Summer, and our Christmas outreach in the Fall.
Food Ministry
Assist in packing and delivering food to families in need in our community. This team packs food on the second Saturday of the month.
Mount Paran helps feed kids at 4 metro area schools. Many come from single-family households where income doesn’t cover nourishment needs of children or, due to work commitments, neither parent is home to provide meals over the weekend. Easy to prepare meals & snacks are given to kids need of food over the weekends.

Jeff & Joanna will lead this team as they love on kids, share testimonies, lead worship services, and offer hands on help to the low-income community where our missionaries are based. Approximate cost of trip is $2,700.
Honduras – early July –This women’s team will partner with our missionaries - Michael & Karen - who operate a home for young girls who’re recovering from trauma and abuse. Volunteers will serve the surrounding community on outreach with the girls, and also assist with practical helps, times of worship, testimonies as they encourage the girls & staff. Cost of trip is $2,200.
Ethiopia - mid-July – Team will go to serve alongside our missionary, Seble who’s based in Addis-Ababa. The focus of this trip will be to serve and minister to at-risk kids & families who live on the edge of the largest trash dump in the city. The team will lead worship, prepare classes and share testimonies of the Lord’s faithfulness. Estimated cost of trip is $3,300.
